News organization The Intercept Media and non‑profit Freedom of the Press Foundation have filed a lawsuit against US President Donald Trump. They ask the court to block Trump Media from providing paying customers with priority faster access to his Truth Social posts via the Truth API. The service charges USD 60,000‑100,000 per month. Plaintiffs argue that government information released publicly by the president should not be offered with priority access for paying users. The lawsuit also seeks a court ruling that the exclusive release of government information via Truth Social is unconstitutional, and bars the Trump administration from continuing to release relevant information in such manner.
