EU Adopts 21st Round of Russia Sanctions, Expands Restrictions on Crypto Platforms

Representatives of EU member states have reached an agreement on the 21st package of sanctions against Russia. The new sanctions add 94 Russian financial institutions and the Moscow Exchange to the full sanctions list, expand trading bans covering more crypto asset platforms, and for the first time sanction vessels supporting Russias shadow fleet. In addition, the price cap on Russian crude oil remains set at USD 44.10 per barrel for a period of 12 months.
