Click: Time:2026-08-10 19:45:05

From next year, Brazils Central Bank will enforce new antifraud regulations for cryptoassets. Any transaction exceeding 10,000 USdollars sent to overseas virtualasset providers or selfcustody wallets can be delayed for up to 24 hours. The threshold applies to singletransaction value or the clients aggregated daily transfers. Additional transactions flagged for risk assessment may also undergo processing delays. The centralbank states the policy targets fastmoving scam proceeds transferred via stablecoins and other digitalassets. These safeguards do not freeze funds or permanently block transfers.
