Optimism, the Ethereum Layer 2 infrastructure project, will cooperate with Upbit operator Dunamu, fintech platform Toss and DB Securities to expand its presence in South Korea. The cooperation covers upgrading and globalizing Dunamu’s blockchain GIWA, validating digital financial infrastructure denominated in KRW, as well as commercializing Jeju Island smart agriculture, livestock assets and Korean intellectual property in the form of tokenized securities and Real World Assets (RWA).
