Europol announced that under Operation Endgame, Europol, Eurojust and law enforcement agencies from multiple countries jointly targeted three malware networks: SocGholish, Amadey and StealC. Authorities seized 326 servers and 142 domain names, recovered roughly 27 million stolen login credentials, and identified, tagged and restricted more than EUR 41 million (around USD 47 million) in illicit crypto assets linked to criminal activities. Europol stated that these malware variants are commonly used for initial system compromise, enabling subsequent ransomware attacks, financial fraud and assaults on critical infrastructure.
