Binance has partnered with Philippine local firm BlockShoals Technologies to expand its presence in the Philippines. BlockShoals announced that it has registered as a Crypto Asset Intermediary in compliance with the crypto asset service rules set by the Philippines SEC, and will act as Binance's local service provider. The two parties revealed that they have maintained regulatory communications with the Philippines SEC for over two years regarding this cooperation, and obtained in-principle approval to enter the regulatory sandbox in November 2025.
