According to Kabar, Kyrgyzstan’s national news agency, President Zaparov confirmed that the newly established 'Берекет Bank' (meaning 'Prosperity Bank') was conceived by Changpeng Zhao, founder of Binance, and co-promoted by him and former Speaker Marat for its establishment. President Zaparov stated that the bank is a private entity focusing on the fields of virtual assets and digital currencies, and is expected to bring billions of US dollars in investment to the country. He emphasized that although his son is involved in the project, the government has no financial or policy intervention, and all profits will be used for social welfare.
