伊朗伊斯蘭革命衛隊海軍公共關係部18日晚間發布消息表示，前一日有多艘船隻在伊朗伊斯蘭革命衛隊海軍指揮協調下通過霍爾木茲海峽。惟因美國違反停火協議，未解除對伊朗船隻及港口封鎖，霍爾木茲海峽自當日晚起關閉，直至封鎖解除為止。

伊朗警告，所有停泊於波斯灣、阿曼海的船隻不得離開泊位，任何靠近霍爾木茲海峽之行為，都將被視為與敵方合作，違規船隻將成為打擊目標。

聲明同時提醒所有船隻及船東，僅透過伊朗官方管道獲取相關資訊，美國總統針對霍爾木茲海峽與波斯灣相關言論「完全不具可信度」。

The Public Relations Department of the IRGC Navy announced late on the 18th that multiple vessels had passed through the Strait of Hormuz under the guidance and coordination of the IRGC Navy the previous day.

However, as the United States violated the ceasefire agreement and failed to lift its blockade on Iranian vessels and ports, the Strait of Hormuz would be closed from that evening until the blockade is removed.

Iran warned that all ships in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman must remain anchored. Any vessel approaching the Strait of Hormuz will be regarded as cooperating with hostile forces and will be targeted for strikes.

The statement also advised all vessels and their owners to obtain information only through official Iranian channels, adding that remarks made by the U.S. President regarding the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf are 'completely unreliable'.
