當地時間2月1日，美國總統川普於海湖莊園回應記者提問伊朗相關議題時表示，希望雙方「能達成協議」。

當日稍早，伊朗外交部長阿拉格齊表示，伊朗對於與美國就核子問題達成協議「仍有信心」。他指出，透過區域友好國家進行的資訊溝通，正推動雙方展開接觸，並稱相關談判「具實質成效」。阿拉格齊重申，伊朗盼美方解除長期製裁，同時尊重伊朗在和平利用核能的框架下，持續進行鈾濃縮的權利。

近期美國持續向伊朗施壓，於中東地區部署包含航空母艦在內的多艘軍艦，並揚言採取軍事幹預。

2月1日稍早獲悉，以色列國防軍總參謀長紮米爾本周末於華盛頓與美方高層展開密集會談。據悉，雙方重點討論對伊朗發動軍事打擊的可能性，以及美、以兩國的戰術協同等議題。

Earlier the same day, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Iran 'still has confidence' in reaching a nuclear deal with the United States. He noted that communication through friendly regional countries is pushing for engagement between the two sides, describing the relevant negotiations as 'productive'. Araghchi reiterated that Iran hopes the US will lift long-standing sanctions and, at the same time, respect Iran's right to continue uranium enrichment within the framework of the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

Recently, the United States has continued to pressure Iran, deploying multiple warships including an aircraft carrier in the Middle East and threatening military intervention.

It was learned earlier on February 1 that Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces Herzi Halevi held intensive talks with senior US officials in Washington over the weekend. It is reported that the two sides focused on discussing the possibility of launching a military strike against Iran, as well as tactical coordination between the US and Israel.
