據第一財經，《穩定幣條例》將於今年8月1日正式生效，香港金融管理局將開啟牌照申請。穩定幣牌照稀缺，預計僅發出個位數，但目前已有40多家公司準備申請，律師事務所反饋還有數十家有意向，競爭激烈。申請者基本都是中國最大的金融機構和互聯網公司，包括京東、渣打、圓幣、螞蟻國際、螞蟻數科等，部分中小企業則因門檻較高，申請機會渺茫。

According to China Business News, the *Stablecoin Ordinance* will officially take effect on August 1 this year, and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority will open license applications. Stablecoin licenses are scarce, with only a single-digit number expected to be issued. However, more than 40 companies are currently preparing to apply, and law firms report that dozens more are interested, leading to fierce competition. Applicants are mostly China's largest financial institutions and internet companies, including JD.com, Standard Chartered, Circle (Yuanbi), Ant International, and Ant Digital Technology. Some small and medium-sized enterprises have little chance of applying due to high thresholds.
