當地時間5月30日，美國總統特朗普表示，將把進口鋼鐵的關稅從25%提高至50%。  

美國白宮當天在社交媒體上發佈公告稱，「為進一步保護美國鋼鐵行業免受外國和不公平競爭的影響，從下周起，美國進口鋼鐵關稅將從25%提高至50%。」

On May 30 local time, U.S. President Trump stated that the tariff on imported steel would be increased from 25% to 50%.  

The White House issued a statement on social media the same day, saying, 'To further protect the U.S. steel industry from foreign and unfair competition, the tariff on imported steel will be raised from 25% to 50% starting next week.'  

Ngày 30/5 theo giờ địa phương, Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump tuyên bố sẽ nâng mức thuế nhập khẩu thép từ 25% lên 50%.

Nhà Trắng cùng ngày cũng thông báo trên mạng xã hội rằng: “Nhằm tăng cường bảo vệ ngành công nghiệp thép của Mỹ trước sự cạnh tranh không công bằng từ nước ngoài, kể từ tuần tới, thuế nhập khẩu thép vào Mỹ sẽ được nâng từ 25% lên 50%.”
