當地時間25日，美國總統特朗普威脅稱，聯邦政府將可能不再繼續向哈佛大學提供新的撥款，並要求校方提供所有國際學生的姓名及國籍信息，以便進一步審查。  

美國政府22日宣布取消美國哈佛大學獲得的學生和交流學者項目資質，禁止該校招收國際學生。哈佛大學23日就此禁令起訴美國政府。

On the 25th local time, U.S. President Trump threatened that the federal government might no longer provide new funding to Harvard University and demanded that the university provide the names and nationalities of all international students for further review.  

The U.S. government announced on the 22nd that it had revoked Harvard University's eligibility for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, banning the university from enrolling international students. Harvard University sued the U.S. government on the 23rd over this ban.
