據中國商務部，中美發佈日內瓦經貿會談聯合聲明，雙方24%的關稅在初始的90天內暫停實施，同時保留按該行政令的規定對這些商品加征剩餘10%的關稅。美國將取消4月8日和4月9日行政令針對中國的加征關稅。中國將暫停或取消自4月2日起針對美國的非關稅反製措施。

According to the Ministry of Commerce of China, China and the United States issued a joint statement on economic and trade talks in Geneva. The 24% tariffs of both sides will be suspended for the initial 90 days. At the same time, the remaining 10% tariffs on these goods will be imposed in accordance with the regulations of the executive order. The United States will cancel the additional tariffs imposed on China in the executive orders on April 8 and April 9. China will suspend or cancel the non-tariff countermeasures against the United States that took effect on April 2.
